About a month ago Skylar and I found out we were expecting. This came as a surprise to the both of us but we were thrilled, after the initial shock wore off that is. It's such a blessing that Skylar and I are able to share this road in our lives together and in the end come out with a beautiful new baby! :) I have come to realize that this is going to be a little more of an adventure than most women may have to go through during their pregnancy, considering the fact I'll be going from Alaska to Michigan to Texas all in this 9 month period. I can only imagine how many different doctors I will be getting to know through out this time. But I am ready! I have a lot of support behind me.
Tomorrow will be my 'official' 10 week mark. That is official until we have our first doctors appointment, then they will be able to give us a more exact date. Our first appointment is set up for August 6th -- as of right now. This has already changed once due to Skylar's job. It is very important to the both of us that he is able to accompany me to as many of appointments as possible.
