Today was the day! :) Skylar and I went to our first appointment today. We were able to hear the babies heart beat but unfortunately no pictures. I couldn't believe it. When that heart beat came through and filled the room, it was breath taking. That's our baby we were hearing. Wow is all I can say. The heart beat was 170, that was another shocker. Skylar decided that baby is doing PT in my belly to have a heart beat that fast, haha.
The appointment is not the only exciting thing going on in our lives right now, we are slowly preparing for the babies arrival. We bought our very first brand new mommy car, 2010 Ford Focus. I love it, it is perfect for me and is the perfect car for kids. As well as the car we bought our first pack of diapers the other day. We're hoping if we start buying diapers every time we go shopping it won't be such a shocker once the baby comes.
I am 12 weeks along as of now and I have been feeling great. At first I was a little worried about the fact that I have been having no symptoms at all but I am now feeling very lucky and grateful to be having such a great pregnancy as of now. Our next appointment is set up for 4 weeks from now, can't wait to update with more fun and exciting news!! :)
